Research, Evaluation and Monitoring

Research, Evaluation and Monitoring

The Research, Evaluation and Monitoring (REM) services, established in 1997, provide research support to BEES program. Under REM services, BEES conducts multidisciplinary studies on various development issues of national and global importance. These include poverty alleviation, socio-economic development, agriculture, nutrition, health, population, education, environment, gender and related fields.

With a view to maintaining continuous self-assessment for different programs of BEES, the REM services mirror the actual scenario of the organization’s development initiatives. These measure the progress of the activities against target and inform the management how effectively the services are being delivered at field. The management thus become able to take necessary steps accordingly with immediate measures while the findings are also shared with various donors, policy-makers and researchers at home and abroad.
