Agriculture and Social Forestry Program

Agriculture and Social Forestry Program

BEES’ Agriculture and Social Forestry Program has tremendous potential for employment generation, poverty alleviation and environmental regeneration. The social forestry component is well ahead to bring all available land in the rural areas under forestation with the active participation of the rural poor.

The agriculture component facilitates the farmers to overcome stagnancy in the agricultural field through promoting crop diversification, increasing crop intensity as well as crop production. Under this component, BEES transfers technology, supplies quality agricultural inputs, credit facilities and training for better management, which, in turn, increases overall agricultural production.
