Rural Development Programs

BEES launched its Rural Development Program since its inception in 1975 with an integrated community development approach. The Rural Development Program (RDP) works with and for the disadvantaged rural population, especially for the women folk. The ultimate goal of RDP is to contribute towards a just and equitable society, in which the poor and disadvantaged group of people are united together on the same platform, attain a high degree of self-reliance for managing their own affairs to achieve sustainable improvements in their livelihoods. In this line, BEES implements its RDP activities among and with the selected groups for promoting an enabling environment with proper institutional arrangements.
