Sisimpur Outreach Program

BEES integrated the Sisimpur Outreach Program supported by Nayantara Communication to enhance intellectuality and self-confidence of pre-school aged children (3+ to <6 years) under formal education along with its other development activities. This program is helping to promote the early childhood development and introduce idea of reading associates so that the children can increase their skills by learning from each other. Children are learning their lessons in an enjoyable environment under this program. Books and supplementary teaching materials are being provided among the teachers and students. Necessary trainings have been made available to the facilitators and field level implementers to use these materials efficiently to support the children’s learning. School management committees have been formed under the program. Family and community support are being mobilized through these committees for quality learning as well. BEES initially selected Gaibandha, Bogra, Faridpur, Madaripur and Gopalgonj districts to render the program.
