Social Mobilization Program with Vulnerable Groups

BEES’ social mobilization activities promote solving problems by participation of civil society, mobilization of local resources and using indigenous knowledge through mass campaign. Efforts in this regard are advocacy and counseling at different levels. The activities include collection of vulnerable household data on health practices, immunization status, enrollment and completion of primary school children, incidence of child labor, etc in the intervention areas. In addition, BEES has been organizing the community members into groups, imparting human development and leadership training, orientation of elected representatives and other stakeholders on the needs of the poor and vulnerable group and to motivate them to become change agents through sharing of ideas, information, training, workshop, group discussion, etc.
